Competing in the Superstock (SST) class, the team secured 5th place in the season standings. The team achieved significant milestones, including its first-ever completion of the 24 Heures Motos and a class victory at the Suzuka 8 Hours.<\/p>\n<p>Entering its third year in 2026, the team has set a clear objective: after drawing on the frustration of two consecutive 5th-place finishes, they want to secure the title in Superstock in 2026.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Supporting this challenge is a lineup led by&nbsp;<strong>Hikari Okubo<\/strong>, entering his third year with the team. Joining him are newcomer&nbsp;<strong>Kaito Toba<\/strong>, second-year rider<strong>&nbsp;Motoharu Ito<\/strong>, and fourth rider&nbsp;<strong>Rei Toshima<\/strong>.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hikari Okubo<\/strong>: \u201c<em>This will be my third year competing with Team \u00c9toile in the FIM Endurance World Championship Superstock class. Watanabe delivered outstanding performances as a veteran, including pole position at Spa in our inaugural year and the dramatic final-stint victory at Suzuka this year. Okuda also proved to be a highly compelling rider in endurance racing, with consistent, crash-free performances such as at Le Mans. Both riders possess exceptional ability. The decision to restructure the team and no longer race together is an extremely difficult one for me. However, our team\u2019s fundamental purpose is \u2018providing opportunities for young talent.\u2019 In our first two years of establishment, we relied on a veteran-centered structure to build momentum from zero. Now, entering our third year with the team functioning well, we are transitioning to a phase where we increase the proportion of younger riders. In endurance racing, there are only three seats for 8-hour races and four for 24-hour races. By establishing a structure of one veteran and mid-twenties young riders, we aim to fulfil our role as a \u2018talent development team.\u2019 This decision is entirely strategic to achieve our team\u2019s goals and is in no way a reflection on performance.
