Over nine seasons, the French rider has competed in <strong data-start=\"534\" data-end=\"546\">38 races<\/strong>, securing <strong data-start=\"557\" data-end=\"572\">9 victories<\/strong> (including <strong data-start=\"584\" data-end=\"617\">3 wins at the 24 Heures Motos<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"622\" data-end=\"643\">2 at the Bol d\u2019Or<\/strong>), <strong data-start=\"646\" data-end=\"660\">16 podiums<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"662\" data-end=\"682\">2 pole positions<\/strong>, and the <strong data-start=\"692\" data-end=\"736\">FIM EWC World Championship title in 2022<\/strong> with the official Honda team. A <strong data-start=\"769\" data-end=\"810\">Honda factory rider from 2018 to 2024<\/strong>, after a brief stint with Kawasaki in 2025, he returns in 2026 on a private Honda run by the <strong data-start=\"904\" data-end=\"923\">Enjolras family<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"301\" data-end=\"924\"><br><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"301\" data-end=\"924\">\n<\/p><p data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"1324\">At the same time, <strong data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"986\">Baptiste Enjolras (Technical Director)<\/strong> is working on integrating new components into the <strong data-start=\"1037\" data-end=\"1058\">Honda CBR1000RR-R<\/strong>. The objective is to optimize the chassis. Among the major changes, the Tati Team AVA6 Racing Honda will adopt a <strong data-start=\"1172\" data-end=\"1240\">new swingarm directly derived from the official F.C.C. TSR Honda<\/strong>, a <strong data-start=\"1244\" data-end=\"1272\">new Arrow exhaust system<\/strong>, and the team is also working on a <strong data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1323\">new fairing<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"1324\"><br><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"1324\">\n<\/p><p data-start=\"1345\" data-end=\"1720\"><em data-start=\"1345\" data-end=\"1720\"><strong>Mike Di Meglio<\/strong> : &#8220;I\u2019m very happy to return to Honda and to race under the colours of Tati Team AVA6 Racing. I started endurance racing in 2017. At that time, the Tati Team was competing in Superstock. In 2018, when they won the category title and moved up to the premier EWC class to face the factory teams, I started paying closer attention to them. They have improved season after season.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1722\" data-end=\"2041\"><em data-start=\"1722\" data-end=\"2041\">At the Bol d\u2019Or 2022, when we won the title with Honda, a few hours before the end of the race and before their mechanical issues, I remember that the Tati Team was virtually World Champion ahead of us for several laps. Without a doubt, they are one of the best private teams on the grid. The team has real potential.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2043\" data-end=\"2387\"><em data-start=\"2043\" data-end=\"2387\">I know the Honda CBR1000RR-R very well after several seasons on the F.C.C. TSR Honda. Of course, I\u2019ll be discovering the Pirelli tyres, their Bitubo suspension and some specific settings of their bike, but I\u2019m not worried. Especially since this season Baptiste has chosen new components coming from the F.C.C. TSR Honda, such as the swingarm.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2389\" data-end=\"2934\"><em data-start=\"2389\" data-end=\"2934\">And then there\u2019s Hugo Clere. He has been with the team for a long time. He knows their Honda very well and knows how to make it fast. He proved it again last year, especially at the Bol d\u2019Or during his first stint when he was running second behind the factory Honda and ahead of four factory teams. He will be able to give me the \u2018keys\u2019 to their Honda. And on my side, my experience with the #5 bike will help with the bike\u2019s development alongside Baptiste and the engineers. In qualifying at Le Mans we set the third fastest time ahead of three factory teams. At Spa and at the Bol d\u2019Or early in the races, John McPhee or Hugo Clere were running second. However, we struggled to maintain this very high level of performance at the end of the stints.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3298\" data-end=\"3644\"><em data-start=\"3298\" data-end=\"3644\">After discussing this issue with Fuji Masaksu, Team Manager of F.C.C. TSR Honda France, we decided to adopt the same swingarm as theirs. We are therefore switching from a Swiss Suter swingarm to a Japanese F.C.C. TSR one. This will not necessarily make the bike faster, but we should gain some improvement in tyre wear and high-speed stability.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3646\" data-end=\"4008\"><em data-start=\"3646\" data-end=\"4008\">At the moment we are redesigning our Arrow exhaust system and our fairings so they are compatible with this new swingarm. At the same time we are trying to rethink and optimise them. These small changes will not revolutionise lap times, but in endurance racing progress is not bought \u2014 it is carefully engineered. Results often come from work on small details.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4010\" data-end=\"4283\"><em data-start=\"4010\" data-end=\"4283\">Mike has ridden several seasons on the official Honda. He will be able to help us with the development and tell us whether he finds familiar sensations. Riders must be able to deal with racing incidents that can sometimes be unfair. Resilience is an essential quality for longevity. Mike has experienced every possible emotion in MotoGP, FSBK and EWC.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4800\" data-end=\"5240\"><em data-start=\"4800\" data-end=\"5240\">He has deep knowledge of endurance racing. He knows how to manage a 24-hour race: the length of stints, the challenges of night racing, relations with teammates\u2026 He also knows the Honda CBR1000RR-R extremely well. The behaviour of the team\u2019s bike should be closer to what he experienced with the #5 machine thanks to the installation of the same swingarm supplied by TSR. En neuf saisons, le Fran\u00e7ais a effectu\u00e9 38 courses, pour 9 victoires (dont 3 aux 24 Heures Motos et 2 au Bol d\u2019Or), 16 podiums, 2 pole positions et un titre de champion du monde sur la Honda officielle en 2022. Pilote d\u2019usine Honda de 2018 \u00e0 2024, apr\u00e8s un rapide d\u00e9tour chez Kawasaki en 2025, il revient en 2026 sur une Honda priv\u00e9e, celle de la famille Enjolras.<\/p><p>Dans le m\u00eame temps,\u00a0<strong>Baptiste Enjolras<\/strong>\u00a0(directeur technique) travaille sur l\u2019int\u00e9gration de nouvelles pi\u00e8ces pour la HONDA CBR 1000 RR-R. L\u2019objectif est d\u2019optimiser la partie ch\u00e2ssis. Parmi les changements majeurs, la Honda du Tati Team AVA6 Racing adopte un nouveau bras oscillant directement issu de la Honda officielle F.C.C. TSR, une nouvelle ligne d\u2019\u00e9chappement Arrow et travaille sur un nouveau car\u00e9nage.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Mike Di Meglio<\/strong>\u00a0:<em>\u00a0\u00ab Je suis tr\u00e8s content de revenir sur une Honda et de courir sous les couleurs du Tati Team AVA6 Racing. J\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 l\u2019endurance en 2017. Le Tati Team roulait \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque en Superstock. En 2018, quand ils ont d\u00e9croch\u00e9 le titre de la cat\u00e9gorie et qu\u2019ils sont pass\u00e9s dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine EWC contre les teams d\u2019usine, j\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 les regarder de plus pr\u00e8s. Ils ont progress\u00e9, saison apr\u00e8s saison. Au Bol d\u2019Or 2022, quand on a remport\u00e9 le titre avec Honda, quelques heures avant la fin de la course et avant leurs probl\u00e8mes m\u00e9caniques, je n\u2019ai pas oubli\u00e9 que le Tati Team a \u00e9t\u00e9 pendant plusieurs tours virtuellement champion du Monde devant nous. Ils sont, sans aucun doute, l\u2019un des meilleurs teams priv\u00e9s du plateau. L\u2019\u00e9quipe a du potentiel. Je connais bien la Honda CBR1000RR-R pour avoir fait plusieurs saisons sur la Honda F.C.C. TSR<\/em>.<em>\u00a0Certes, je vais d\u00e9couvrir les Pirelli, leurs suspensions Bitubo, et quelques autres r\u00e9glages qui sont sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 leur moto, mais je ne suis pas inquiet. D\u2019autant plus que pour cette saison, Baptiste vient d\u2019opter pour de nouvelles pi\u00e8ces issues de la Honda F.C.C. TSR, comme le bras oscillant. Et puis, il y a Hugo Cl\u00e8re. Il est avec eux depuis longtemps. Il conna\u00eet bien leur Honda. Il sait comment la faire aller vite. Il l\u2019a d\u00e9j\u00e0 prouv\u00e9 plusieurs fois notamment l\u2019an dernier, au Bol d\u2019Or dans son premier relais, quand il \u00e9tait deuxi\u00e8me derri\u00e8re la Honda d\u2019usine et devant 4 teams officiels. Il va pouvoir me donner les \u201ccl\u00e9s\u201d de leur Honda. Et de mon c\u00f4t\u00e9, mon exp\u00e9rience sur la #5 pourra aider dans la mise au point de la moto avec Baptiste et les ing\u00e9nieurs. Mais on a aussi eu du mal \u00e0 maintenir ce tr\u00e8s haut niveau de performance sur les fins de relais. En discutant de ce probl\u00e8me avec Fuji Masaksu, Team Manager F.C.C. TSR Honda France, on a pris la d\u00e9cision d\u2019opter pour le m\u00eame bras oscillant qu\u2019eux. On passe donc d\u2019un bras suisse Suter \u00e0 un bras japonais F.C.C. TSR. Cela ne rendra pas la moto plus rapide, mais on devrait gagner un peu sur l\u2019usure des pneus et sur la stabilit\u00e9 \u00e0 haute vitesse. En ce moment, on est en train de redessiner notre ligne d\u2019\u00e9chappement Arrow et nos car\u00e9nages pour qu\u2019ils soient compatibles avec ce nouveau bras. Par la m\u00eame occasion, on essaye de les repenser et de les optimiser. Ces petits changements ne feront pas une r\u00e9volution au chrono, mais en endurance, la progression ne s\u2019ach\u00e8te pas, elle se r\u00e9fl\u00e9chit. Les r\u00e9sultats sont souvent acquis gr\u00e2ce au travail sur de petits d\u00e9tails. Mike a roul\u00e9 plusieurs saisons sur la Honda officielle. Il va pouvoir nous aider dans la mise au point et nous dire s\u2019il retrouve ses rep\u00e8res.
