A valve spring failed and therefore the mechanical noise we heard was the valve hitting the top of the piston.<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u201cWe have been racing ZX10Rs since 2017, including five 24-hour race finishes, and this is the first engine failure we have ever had and just a freak failure of one small part.<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u201cOnwards and upwards, thanks again for the support of everyone. nation on his shoulders as he bids for home success for BMRT3D Maxxess Nevers, which has stepped up from Superstock to the Formula EWC category for 2024.
