Isaac Viñales to join Hugo Clere and Mike Di Meglio at Tati Team AVA6 Racing
Le Tati Team AVA6 Racing officialise l’arrivée de l’Espagnol, qui officiera aux côtés de Mike Di Meglio et d’Hugo Clere.
Après une pige de remplaçant en 2025, pour les 8 Heures de Suzuka, Isaac Viñales devient pilote titulaire en 2026 aux côtés de Hugo Clere et Mike Di Meglio.
Isaac Viñales : « Je cours en EWC depuis plusieurs années. Au cours des deux dernières saisons, j’ai collaboré avec différentes équipes Honda en Superstock (Wojick) et en catégorie EWC (Tati Team AVA6 Racing à Suzuka, F.C.C. TSR Honda France au Bol d’Or). Il m’est donc désormais assez facile d’évaluer n’importe quel type d’équipe. C’est pourquoi je suis très heureux de rejoindre le Tati Team AVA6 Racing pour une saison complète. J’ai pu constater et tester le potentiel de leur ensemble “équipe-moto-partenaires” l’année dernière à Suzuka. Leur Honda est, sans aucun doute, l’une des meilleures motos privées du Championnat EWC. Le moteur est puissant. Leur châssis est sûr, stable et fiable. Baptiste (directeur technique), Vatéa (ingénieur de données) et Johnathan (ingénieur Bitubo) ont trouvé les bons réglages et le bon équilibre entre performance et durabilité pour tirer le maximum des pneus Pirelli. Avec Mike et Hugo (Clere), nous partageons le même esprit d’endurance. Notre plus grand défi sera d’être rapides et constants tout au long de la saison, même si nous disposons d’un budget et d’un temps d’entraînement moindres que les équipes d’usine. Cependant, je suis prêt à relever ce défi et enthousiaste à l’idée de courir avec l’équipe. »
Patrick Enjolras (Team Manager) : « Pour la saison 2026, nous sommes très heureux d’officialiser l’arrivée d’Isaac Viñales comme pilote titulaire du Tati Team AVA6 Racing aux côtés de Mike et d’Hugo. Son passage chez nous à Suzuka en 2025 a été une très bonne expérience. Nous l’avions recruté pour remplacer Martin Renaudin, blessé. Isaac a répondu présent. Il a compris l’ADN de notre team privé, ce que nous attendons d’un pilote EWC : rouler vite, longtemps, avec intelligence et fiabilité. Isaac possède une belle expérience internationale, en Moto3, Moto2, Supersport, Superbike, et bien sûr en endurance. Il a plusieurs qualités clés pour notre projet : sérieux, constant, fiable, impliqué, méthodique… et il sait s’adapter. Le fait qu’il ait déjà roulé sur notre Honda et sur la Honda Officielle #5 comme remplaçant au Bol d’or 2025, a rendu ce recrutement plus facile. Avec Mike et Hugo, nous avons fait le choix d’un trio de pilotes expérimentés, international et homogène. Nous sommes très fiers de les avoir avec nous pour toute la saison. »
Tati Team AVA6 Racing has officially confirmed Spanish rider Isaac Viñales will be joining Mike Di Meglio and Hugo Clere.
After stepping in as a replacement rider in 2025 for the Suzuka 8 Hours, Isaac Viñales will be a full-time rider in 2026 alongside Hugo Clere and Mike Di Meglio.
Isaac Viñales: “I’ve been racing in EWC for several years. Over the last two years, I’ve been engaged with different Honda teams in Superstock (Wojick) and EWC (Tati Team Ava6 racing at Suzuka, F.C.C. TSR Honda France at the Bol d’Or). So, it is now quite easy for me to evaluate any kind of teams. This is why I’m really happy to join the Tati Team AVA6 Racing for a whole season. I’ve seen and tested the potential of their package ‘team-bike-partners’ last year at Suzuka. Their Honda is, without any doubt, one of the best private bikes on the EWC grid. The engine is powerful. Their chassis is safe, stable, and reliable. Baptiste (Technical Director), Vatéa (Datas Engineer), and Johnathan (Bitubo Engineer), have found the right settings and the right balance between performance and durability to get the maximum from the Pirelli. With Mike and Hugo, we share the same spirit of endurance. Our biggest challenge will be to be fast and consistent throughout the whole season, even if we have less budget and training time than the factory teams. But I’m ready for it, and excited to ride with the team.”
Patrick Enjolras (Team Manager): “For the 2026 season, we are very happy to officially announce that Isaac Viñales will be joining Tati Team AVA6 Racing as a full-time rider alongside Mike and Hugo. His experience with us at Suzuka in 2025 was very positive. We signed him to replace Martin Renaudin, who was injured. Isaac did not disappoint. He understood the DNA of our private team and what we expect from an EWC rider: to ride fast, for long periods, smartly and reliably. Isaac has extensive international experience in Moto3, Moto2, Supersport, Superbike, and, of course, endurance racing. He has several key qualities for our project: he is serious, consistent, reliable, committed, methodical… and he knows how to adapt. The fact that he has already raced on our Honda and on the official Honda #5 as a substitute at the 2025 Bol d’Or made it easier to sign him. With Mike and Hugo, we have chosen a trio of experienced, international, and consistent riders. We are very proud to have them with us for the whole season.”
