BMW WORLD SUPERBIKE TESTING BOOSTING GUINTOLI AHEAD OF EWC CHALLENGE
Sylvain Guintoli won’t be short of “positive energy” when he races for the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team in the FIM Endurance World Championship in 2024.
Le Français a rejoint la structure belge, en provenance du Yoshimura SERT Motul, pour les quatre rendez-vous de l’EWC qui consistent en deux courses de 24 heures et deux d’une durée de huit heures.
Il combinera son rôle en EWC avec son travail de pilote d’essai pour BMW dans le championnat World Superbike.
Après des tests au Portugal et en Espagne, Guintoli a déclaré : “Ces quatre jours d’essais m’ont permis de découvrir la BMW M1000RR et l’équipe BMW. Un premier contact positif, un feeling et une énergie excellents et déjà un travail de développement en plein essor.”

The Frenchman has joined the Belgian squad from Yoshimura SERT Motul for the four-round EWC, which consists of two 24-hour counters and two featuring eight hours of action.
He will combine his EWC role with his job as a test rider for BMW’s FIM Superbike World Championship attack.
And following four days of testing in Portugal and Spain, Guintoli said: “Four days of testing allowed me to discover the BMW M1000RR and the BMW team. A positive first contact, an excellent feeling and energy on this new project and already a development work in full swing.”
