National Motos Honda FMA unveils its 2026 line-up
En endurance depuis 1971, la structure francilienne National Motos Honda FMA (n°55) vient de communiquer son line-up pour la saison 2026. L’objectif reste intact : batailler aux avant-postes dans la très disputée catégorie Superstock.
Le noyau de l’équipe est préservé avec la reconduction du trio Valentin Suchet, Guillaume Raymond et Johan Nigon. Pour consolider cet équipage et affronter les exigences des courses de 24 heures, le team intègre un quatrième pilote en la personne de Philipp Steinmayr. L’Autrichien, présent sur les circuits depuis 2015, connaît la méthode pour s’imposer. Vice-champion de son pays en 2018, il a surtout soulevé la Coupe du Monde FIM EWC en 2022.
Au-delà du chronomètre, National Motos perpétue le second pilier de son identité : la transmission. Le box fonctionne comme un véritable laboratoire grandeur nature. En s’appuyant sur ses partenariats avec l’INCM (Institut National du Cycle et du Motocycle) et le GARAC, l’équipe intègre de jeunes apprentis à son équipe technique. Ils se forment directement sur le terrain de l’endurance, assimilant la rigueur de la compétition au contact des mécaniciens, des pilotes et des bénévoles qui portent la structure depuis plus de 50 ans.
Competing in endurance racing since 1971, the Paris-based team National Motos Honda FMA (#55) has just announced its rider line-up for the 2026 season. The objective remains unchanged: to fight at the front in the highly competitive Superstock category.
The core of the team remains intact with the renewal of the trio Valentin Suchet, Guillaume Raymond and Johan Nigon. To strengthen the squad and meet the demands of 24-hour races, the team is adding a fourth rider: Philipp Steinmayr. The Austrian, who has been racing on circuits since 2015, knows what it takes to win. Runner-up in his national championship in 2018, he notably lifted the FIM EWC World Cup in 2022.
Beyond the stopwatch, National Motos continues to uphold the second pillar of its identity: transmission and training. The garage operates as a true full-scale laboratory. Through its partnerships with the INCM (Institut National du Cycle et du Motocycle) and GARAC, the team integrates young apprentices into its technical staff. They learn directly in the demanding environment of endurance racing, absorbing the discipline of competition alongside the mechanics, riders and volunteers who have supported the structure for more than 50 years.
