C\u2019est clair que l\u2019endurance est une course \u00e0 vivre pour tout vrai passionn\u00e9 de moto. Le championnat EWC est d\u2019un niveau tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9, avec 5 teams officiels et plusieurs excellents teams priv\u00e9s. Il y a un gros peloton de pilotes de classe mondiale derri\u00e8re la grille.<\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"407\" data-end=\"859\"><em>Le TATI Team est clairement l\u2019un des meilleurs teams priv\u00e9s. Ils ont termin\u00e9 2e \u00e0 Spa en 2022 et 3e l\u2019an dernier. Leur Honda CBR 1000 RR-R est assez proche de celle que je pilote actuellement en BSB. Les seules diff\u00e9rences concernent le r\u00e9servoir de 24 litres (plus grand et plus large), le poids (plus lourd), les suspensions (Bitubo), les freins (Beringer) et l\u2019\u00e9lectronique. Mais au final, l\u2019ensemble fonctionne bien et je me sens plut\u00f4t \u00e0 l\u2019aise.<\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"1182\"><em>L\u2019\u00e9quipe a eu deux pilotes bless\u00e9s (Martin Renaudin et Randy Krummenacher) \u00e0 la derni\u00e8re minute. Ils m\u2019ont donc demand\u00e9 si je voulais tenter l\u2019exp\u00e9rience de venir rouler \u00e0 Spa. Il m\u2019a fallu moins de 5 minutes pour dire oui. J\u2019ai charg\u00e9 tout mon \u00e9quipement dans la voiture et 9 heures plus tard, nous \u00e9tions \u00e0 Spa.<\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"1190\" data-end=\"1641\" data-is-last-node=\"\"><em>John (McPhee), mon co\u00e9quipier chez Hawk Racing, participe aussi \u00e0 ce d\u00e9fi un peu fou. Le circuit est vraiment incroyable : les zones de freinage, la vitesse, les virages en mont\u00e9e et en descente\u2026 Pour l\u2019instant, j\u2019essaie simplement de trouver le bon rythme et de progresser tour apr\u00e8s tour. Ma premi\u00e8re s\u00e9ance de qualifications \u00e9tait plut\u00f4t encourageante, et la deuxi\u00e8me encore meilleure. There is a big pack of world-class riders behind the grid. The Tati Team is clearly one of the best private teams. They finished 2nd in Spa in 2022 and 3rd last year. Their Honda CBR 1000 RR-R is quite similar to the Honda I currently race in BSB. The only differences are the 24L tank (bigger and larger), the weight (heavier), and the suspensions (Bitubo) and the brakes (Beringer) and electronics. But at the end, the package works well and I feel pretty comfortable. The team have 2 riders injured (Martin Renaudin and Randy Krummenacher) at the last minute. So, they ask me if I want to experience to come to ride in Spa. It took me less than 5 minutes to decide. I tuck all my gear in my car and 9 hours after we landed in Spa. John (Mc Phee), my teammate at Hawk racing is also taking part of this crazy challenge. The track is really amazing: the braking zones, the speed, the up and down corners\u2026.At the moment, I just try to take the good rhythm and to improve lap after lap. My first qualifying session was quite encouraging and the 2nd one was even better.
