The official BMW won a sensational 2022 edition of the 24H SPA EWC Motos, ahead of the TATI TEAM BERINGER RACING’s Kawasaki No. 37 and the F.C.C. TSR Honda France’s Honda No. 5.
The rain made its appearance and the crashes followed soon after. The N°37 BMW avoided the traps and kept the lead.
The Suzuki No. 1 and the Honda No. 5, both candidates for the final podium, crashed as the first storms arrived at Spa-Francorchamps, as did the Kawasaki No. 33 and Yamaha No. 18 who were leading the Superstock class.
The BMW No. 37 took the lead of the 24H SPA EWC Motos, after a chain issue sentds the Honda No. 5 into the pits.
The F.C.C. TSR Honda France leads at the halfway point, thanks to mechanical problems with the Yoshimura SERT Motul. Rain could disrupt the second half of the race.
The Suzuki No. 1 spent more than 25 minutes in the pits with a mechanical problem, handing the 24H SPA EWC Motos’ leadership to the Honda No. 5.
